Oly & Pete

The broadcast crew is led by sports director Oly Archibald in his 39th year handling the play by play duties.

Oly has broadcast multiple state championship games in basketball and football including the Neah Bay Red Devils boys basketball championship in March, 2016.

Archibald is also the voice of the Lower Columbia College Red Devils Woman’s Basketball Team for ESPN Radio KLOG 1490 am in Longview.  Archibald has been an UW Husky season ticket holder since junior year in high school (1982) and has seen over 300 D1 college games.

Forks High School student Marcis Davis is in his second season as the broadcaster for Forks Spartan football.

All Class B games will be broadcast live on Forks Radio 1490 am and on the World Wide Web forks1490.com.
Bob Hudon a Port Angeles HS grad from the Bernie Fryer days, he will handle some play by play duties as well. Hudon is the voice of Forks Spartan Basketball and has over 10 years of broadcasting experience.
Eric “Blade” Johnson a former outstanding student athlete at Neah Bay HS is a onetime professional boxer and has several years of coaching high school and youth sports. Eric’s Daughter Krista just ended a solid basketball career at South Sound CC.
Pete “Homer” Haubrick a former Sequim Wolf and CWU Wildcat is the P.A. voice of Forks High School. Haubrick is a fan favorite, often teaching fundlementals on air to his young listeners.
Gary Riedel of Port Angeles was a highly respected high school football and basketball official for over 30 years. Riedel is known all over the Pacific Northwest for his work with the Lions Club.
