The event is co-sponsored by the North Olympic Library System  The League says the forums are offered to help voters prepare to cast their ballots for the Aug. 7 primary election.

Another forum will be held Monday, July 16 in Port Angeles  at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at Port Angeles City Hall

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and bring their questions for the candidates.

For residents not yet registered in Washington state, today is the last day to submit voter registration online or by mail, and July 30 is the last day to register in-person at the Clallam County Auditor’s office.

Ballots will be mailed Wednesday, July 18 and must be postmarked no later than Aug. 7.
