Forks and Neah Bay Post Huge Wins

Forks 46, Elma 38 Triple OT


Garrison Shumack’s 6-yard run in Triple OT lifted the Spartans to a come-from-behind 46-38 win over Elma in triple overtime Friday.

Forks (4-3) secured the final playoff berth in the Evergreen League.

Forks trail 22-8 at halftime, but were led back by Dalgren who finished with 141 yards on 29 carries with 3 TDs.

Overall Forks finished with 380 yards on the ground.

Forks completed their regular season schedile next Friday with a home game vs. Hoquiam.  Kick time at 7 PM

Forks Tops Tenino 22-20

Gabe Reaume threw 2 TD passes and Garrison Shumack had a late game-saving interception as Forks defeated Tenino 22-20 at Spartan Stadium Friday night.


The Beavers led most of the first half until Reaume hit Cole Basinger in endzone for a 6-yard TD pass with just 1 second left before halftime.  The Spartans added the 2-point conversion to take a 14-13 lead at the half.

There was no scoring in the third quarter, but the Spatrtans got back on the board on the first play of the fourth on an 11-yard run by  Jeffrey Schumack.  The Beavers got another TD to cut the Forks lead to 22-20, but Garrison Schumack sealed the win with an interception with less than 2-minute to play.

The Spartans play a road game next Friday at N. Mason.

Spartans Fall to Neah Bay in OT

Neah Bay 26, Forks 20 OT


Rweha Munyagi’s 1-yard TD run in OT lifted the Red Devils to a come-from-behind voictory over forks at Spartan Stadium Friday.

Forks had taken a 20-14 lead in the fourth quarter on a TD run by Cole Basinger.  Jack Dalgran and Garrison Shumack also scored for the Spartans.

The Red Devils has an interception return for a TD by Cole Svec.  They also score on a pass o Munyagi.

The Red Devils are 3-1 , they have a bye next week before opening their conference play against Morton/White Pass October 7.

Forks (2-2) opens their Evergreen League play next week at Montesano.
