Forks Man Faces Weapons, Drug Charges

A Forks man has been charged with multiple drug and weapons violations after Clallam County sheriff’s deputies found heroin and numerous firearms in his motorhome Dec. 1, court papers said.

Court papers say 27 year-old Tommy Lee Cook Jr. was charged Wednesday with four counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and single counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver heroin and other charges

Net Pens Allowed in SMP update

Net pen aquaculture is allowed as a conditional use in open waters under Clallam County’s draft Shoreline Master Program.

A net pen planned for PA has been on hold since an Atlantic net pen was breached earlier this year allowing some 3000,000 Atlantic Salmon to be released into Pacific waters.
