17th Annual Expo on April 5 & 6, 2014

The 17th Annual Building, Remodeling and Energy Expo will take place Saturday, April 5 from 9-4 & Sunday, April 6 from 10-4 at the Sequim High School Campus.

Need Project Lifesaver?

Project Lifesaver is a nationwide effort for people with dementia or other diseases that could cause disorientation.  Police administrator Rick Bart says those people would get a wristwatch type device in case they get lost.  He talks about it with Forks 1490’s Ken Lambert:



Fleck: RAC Award Days Away

Forks City Attorney and Planner Rod Fleck says the award for the construction project for the new RAC is likely to happen soon.  He talks about that – and the possibility of a legal pot shop in Forks with with Forks 1490’s David Herberg.


Fisherman Lost in Bogachiel River


Rain and churning waters sank a fishing boat with two aboard in the Bogachiel River. One man is presumed dead.

William “Bill” Rusk, a retired engineer who recently moved to Sequim from California, was last seen clinging to a sinking drift boat Friday.

Spring is right around the corner, and so is the family fun and
excitement of the Washington State Spring Fair.
